Earning From Articles

One of the ways that people have found to begin earning an income is by writing articles and placing them on various submission sites. The way these sites pay the writers varies, if they pay their writers at all. Ezine articles is an article submission site that does not provide any income to their writers.

There are article submission sites which allow their writers to use affiliate marketing along with their writing of articles such as Squidoo, Wizzley, Hub Pages, to name a few of the more popular ones. Others do not allow affiliate marketing, nor do they allow the writers to place any personal links withing their articles. However, the writer will earn from Google Adsense, while sharing that Adsense income with the site owners. The ways that sites provide income, usually pennies, varies from site to site. One of the mistakes that many writers make is to depend on Google Adsense for income.

Who Is Making The Money

To begin with, when you place your aticles on an article submission site, you are only going to get a fraction of Google Adsense earnings. You, the writer, will be required to have your own Google Adsense account as well. One of the complaints about Google Adsense is that many writers, bloggers, and website owners (the little guy), are seeing their Adsense accounts for an unknown reason. If your account is shut down, it is unlikely that you will be reinstated, and will lose the income that you have earned. Unfortunately this happens frequently, and leaves many baffled as to what to do next. Many people do not realize that there are alternatives to Google Adsense.

Nobody truly understands or knows exactly how the ad income is distributed. The general consensus is that Google pays out 33 percent of what the advertiser pays them to the site owners. When you place your articles on an article submission site, does Google pay the writer 33 percent, or does Google pay the article submission site 33 percent of what the advertiser pays them, and then the article submission site doles out a minute amount to the writers that are placing the content on their sites, where these money making ads are being placed. This all remains a mystery, and probably will remain a mystery. Certainly Google is not going to reveal anything, nor are these article submission site owners.

If your Adsense account is disabled, it will stop all earnings from monetizing your blog, your website, as well as the articles that you publish on other sites, if that is the only source of income. You can only have one Google Adsense account, which is the reason for income across the board stopping. So, is there alternatives to Google Adsense? The answer is yes!

Stop Being Used By Article Submission Sites

It is about time for the little guy to have a chance to earn a decent income from their hard work. These article submission sites, with thousands of writers, and tons of articles where these ads are placed, are making a killing from Adsense and other advertisers. It is about time for writers to turn the tables. When you have a blog or website where you will add articles to, you still need to get traffic to them. Continuing to add articles to the article submission sites will help in getting traffic to you, especially when you have a new site, or a new blog that is hidden among the thousands of sites found in the search pages.

But, you can earn extra income which you do not have to share, nor does that income need to be from Google Adsense. In fact, it is best to not monetize your blog or website with Google Adsense, and only use your account with the article sites that require you to have an Adsense account.

There Are Alternatives To Google Adsense

Fortunately for the average blogger, affiilate marketer or online writer, Google Adsense is not the only game in town. There are alternatives to Google Adsense. Although it may be time consuming to set up something new, to test it for awhile, the question we must ask ourselves is are we going to all Google and aricle submission sites to make a killing off of our hard work, or are we going to find alternative incomes that we don't need to share with anyone.

  • Blogvertise

You can place multiple blogs or sites here. It does not cost you anything. It can be difficult to understand at times, and issues with the site do arise. However, they do have a support group that does get back with you. Each blog does need to be approved. Paypal is the only source of payment. There are multiple ways to earn from this site. Often advertisers will ask for a task, such as writing a short description. The FAQ's page will answer many of your questions.

This writer did use blogsvertise for a short period of time. I found the tasks to be a bit of a pain. Even though instructions were followed, the client would reject, reject, reject. I did not find the support staff to be supportive of their publishers. It was a constant do it over again. The pay was not worth doing a simple 100 word description, according to client instructions, just to be rejected. I am sure the client used the work, but did not want to pay for it. I copied everything, sent it to blogsvertise, yet they should have intervened and dealt with client, and had me be paid, but this did not happen. Others claim to do well.

You can also place links, etc on your blog without any writing. I did not stay with them long enough to even get an idea as to what type of income can be earned.
